Last summer, I felt a deep urge to connect my garments with the idea of feminine strength. I chose to do so by playing with the natural elements — water, air, earth, fire — which are part of each and every one of us. It was a strength I wanted to express through the gentleness of dance and my beloved poetry. As I tuned into these elements, I felt my own energy and balance begin to grow, and I tried to turn that into images. Some encounters carry a hint of magic. Meeting Youssef, a young and gifted filmmaker, was one of those moments for me. Just as a painter transfers a vision onto canvas with the confidence of his hand, Youssef was able to turn everything I had imagined into images and music. I’ll never forget the joyful time spent with him and the lovely Silvia, who honoured my pieces with her powdered, innate sweetness — our travels to shoot, backpacks full of sandwiches, the laughter, and the desire to capture as much beauty as we could. I waited until my birthday to release this video, because the moment I watched it, I knew: I was giving birth to myself once again — with all the strength I had inside. Light, she rises, suspended in air. Shapeshifting, she vanishes into seafoam, dances through tongues of flame, and finally,
